My name is Veronica, I am a Hatha Yoga teacher currently based in Palma at the heart of the Balearic Island of Mallorca, Spain.
I grew up in Margarita Island, Venezuela. It was there where I started exploring a love for movement from a young age, mainly through contemporary dance and ballet, which had laid such deep foundations within me and a feeling of expressing myself through movement, like a seed waiting to be reawakened, perhaps in a different form.
My journey with Yoga started years later whilst working in Horticulture as a community Gardener in London, this was a physically demanding job and in my spare time I practiced Pilates purely for the physical benefits to develop the body strength I needed to support my work as a Gardener.
Until one day I decided to attend my first Hatha Yoga class, at a studio in Brockley, South London. This turned my world around completely. The first thing I noticed was that feeling of balance within me, I felt deeply energised but calm which I had never experienced with other forms of movement. This led me to explore other styles of Yoga including Vinyasa, Sivananda and Forrest, and so after years of practice I decided to take my interest further and become a Hatha Yoga teacher. I trained at Green Yoga International in Mallorca, completing their 200hr Multi style Yoga Alliance certified program followed by a 200hr Masters Yoga Alliance certification with Radhiyoga.com and a 50hr Hatha Raja Yoga Alliance certification with Andrei Ram.

My classes are mainly influenced by Sivananda Yoga integrating elements of its holistic approach and combining it with the therapeutic benefits of Hatha. In this practice I invite you to open your heart and learn to manage internal and external stresses of life through breath, movement and stillness.
